Introduction to My Blog

Bonus book content and additional posts and commentary

I am an author, speaker, and consultant who works to help students with disabilities make a successful transition to college. In writing the second edition of my successful book, From High School to College: Steps to Success for Students with Disabilities, I interviewed dozens of transition "partners," including college disability service providers, admissions representatives, college students with disabilities, and others. Since only some of that content made it into the book, I wanted to share the rest here.

In addition to sharing that bonus content, I also use this blog to comment on related topics as they arise in my professional experiences.

If you would like to learn more about college search and admissions considerations for students with disabilities, college disability services, and the experiences of families who have been through the process, I hope that you will purchase the book You can also learn more on my main site,

If you have any questions or comments for me, use the Contact link in the menu.
